Thoughts on Mawlid

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Two points to consider:

1) Abu Lahab, one of the greatest enemies of Islam, freed a slave in celebration of the birth of The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasalam)

2) Because of this act of kindness related to The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasalam), his punishment is decreased every Monday.

So if such a terrible disbeliever like Abu Lahab can be rewarded for celebrating the birth of The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wasalam), what then of those who believe?

Think on it.
